This is a pet portrait of a giant schnauzer, Helmut. It was commissioned for a Christmas gift. I took this picture before I varnished it and framed it. I thought for sure I did take one after it was varnished but I guess I didn't so I posted the only one I have now. I plan in the future to up date this photo when I visit the painting. Helmut was a gentle giant that loved his owner and would follow him all-round the backyard watching him garden. Helmut will not be forgotten.
