I have not done a waterfall in awhile. I forgot how much I love painting waterfalls. I really enjoy the challenge it is to create a wide variety of brush strokes, splashes of opaque color and streams of transparency in the water. Just what I needed to loosen up. This was inspired by a photo by Cindy Crooks from a Facebook page: Photos for Artist. Thanks Cindy for the wonderful photo. I posted Cindy's photo below.

I really like how the cherries have circle around to see the wild flowers. This is a very playful painting with dramatic lighting. The sparkle in the glass also has a very playful quality. Thanks for viewing my painting.

I borrowed this black iron teapot from my brother. He uses this teapot in the winters to heat tea on his cast iron stove. That little stove does a great job heating up his three season room and also makes a great cup of tea. Thanks Gary for letting me borrow the teapot.
