Painted on an Ampersand Gessobord.

Original Oil Painting Silver Radishes

Silver Radishes

Sold

12" x 12"

Painted on gesso panel.

In this painting I tried to keep the background less detailed. The leaves on the radishes are more suggestive and the background radish, too. Doing this the silver goblet takes center stage with the radish in the foreground. The ends of the radishes give the painting a delicate touch with the way they whip around. Anyone for a radish??

Original Oil Painting Pin Cushion

Pin Cushion

10" x 10"

Painted on gesso panel.

Sold

This is one of my old pin cushions. I am not sure if they are still the preferred pin cushion of today but years ago they were all over. I never was quite sure what the purpose of the small tomato was. I am guessing it was to hold a thimble?

Original Oil Painting Christmas Ornament in Lucky Dish

Christmas Ornament in Lucky Dish

12" x 12"

Painted on gesso panel.

Painting is posted on Daily Paint Works' auction.

This is a glass ornament my mother gave me. I made several still life shots with my camera before choosing this composition to paint. I like the way the objects reflect off the white tissue paper. Everything seems to sparkle!

Original Oil Painting Three Green Apples Checked

Three Green Apples Checked

Sold

10" x 10"

Painted on gesso panel.

This is kind of a Christmas painting but the subject matter makes it year round. It is also a painting you could hang any directions. I almost posted it upside down. This would be a good challenge to viewers. Let them see it one way than turn it a half turn and the next time they view it will they notice? I hope you enjoy viewing my little painting of these green apples rolling around the checkered cloth. I love the way the cloth folds around the apples and the apples reflect the pattern and each other. Everything compliments each other.

Original Oil Painting Rock Challenge

Rock Challenge

I painted this using a reference photo from PaintMyPhoto.com

I love the upward view, it some how reminds me of Moses? I have not idea why.
